Maison DEVIENNE – Born in Tahiti, refined in France
Maison Devienne was born in Tahiti, where vibrant Polynesian inspiration meets the timeless elegance of silk. Every scarf is more than an accessory: it is a piece of art to wear, a fragment of island life that stirs the senses and invites the spirit to travel.
Our history
The origins: an artist and an island
For more than thirty years, Louis Devienne, a painter with a Tahitian mother and French (or half-Tahitian) father, has been painting the light and landscapes of Polynesia. His vibrant canvases recount memories of the islands , their inhabitants, lagoons, coconut groves and sunsets. In 2021, he and his wife Sarah decided to take his art in a new direction: painting canvases designed from the outset as silk squares, so that art could become wearable elegance; creations designed to be worn, collected or simply admired. Thus was born Maison DEVIENNE, a family, artistic and human adventure.

Each silk square is born from a canvas painted in Tahiti, designed from the outset to be worn. The creation follows a demanding path: an original 90×90 cm canvas painted in the studio by the half-Tahitian artist Louis Devienne, renowned in French Polynesia for 25 years.
Faithful digitalisation, printed in Lyon on 14 momme natural silk, limited edition of between 50 and 250 pieces, hand-rolled in the purest tradition of French luxury scarves, presented in a locally eco-designed case made from coconut fibre, banana and cane sugar.
